Meet Eb.
She/ Her
Psychologist - Founder - Director
Hi, I'm Ebony.
I’m a Registered Psychologist who employs a warm and genuine approach in my person-centered practice. I’m dedicated to creating a safe, empowering, and non-judgmental environment that allows my clients to explore the challenges they face in their lives. I’m committed to helping them develop self-awareness, understand the complexities of their difficulties, and appreciate their unique strengths and resources.
My goal is to promote self-acceptance and positive change by drawing on these strengths and guiding clients toward living a full and meaningful life.
Experience and Approach
I've gained experience working with people across the lifespan in primary and secondary schools, employment agencies, with NDIS providers, and in private practice.
I understand that everyone is unique and requires a tailored approach to achieve their therapeutic goals. To best support my clients' individual needs, I draw on a range of evidence-based interventions, including Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
I’m passionate about exploring neurodivergence in an affirming manner and have a particular interest in supporting clients with an internalised or masked presentation. My aim is to help them find validation and understanding of themselves. I provide a space to explore these unique facets, helping clients embrace and capitalise on their individual abilities while addressing their challenges.
Outside of the therapy room
I’m a new mum figuring out how to raise a very small human. I have an eclectic (scattered) taste in music, love reading, walks with my little family, whatever crafty hobby I’m into this week, and musical theatre.
Warning:
During our telehealth sessions, you may be graced with the dulcet tones of one and/or both of my dogs: Russell (golden retriever) and Yogi ( pug), snoring.
